If you configure a "static" default front page (settings --> reading) to an existing "page" (say a blog page) and that blog uses pagination and/or infinite scrolling, it causes the page to load the same (first page) content continuously.
Undo the static reference and go to the "page" directly and the scrolling/infinite loading works again.
Alternatively, I think I can achieve my goal if there was a way to configure a 'content block' under "Layout --> Posts". Currently, only the header and/or footer can be configured w/ a 'content block' and minimal options are available for the content section.
Long story short, I'd love to set my home page to a 'content block' page so that I can make use of the pagination and/or infinite scrolling and get the nice animation with it. Currently, if I only use the standard "load recent posts" via Wordpress, pagination works but with hard page reloads.
